Top Parking Tips

Some visitors prefer to park at, or close to, a local train station and do the last short part of the journey to Birmingham International station by train.

Some local/regional stations will have free car parks, some will be a bit cheaper than the NEC, some will have on-road parking close by. The added benefit of approaching like this should mean less chance of getting caught in any traffic congestion around site or on the surrounding M42/M6 at peak times, especially as other Shows may be running over the same dates.

Parking is available at Birmingham International station (1300 spaces with covered walk through to NEC Halls), usually saving a couple of pounds, but you will need to arrive early to find a space.

Consider a car share and split the costs between a group of friends.

You are very welcome to take photos and record video for personal use at the UK Drone Show, and we encourage you to share them on social media! For commercial media and press enquiries please contact us here for press passes.

Unfortunately unless you have been invited to be involved in specific flight activities at the Show there is no public flying at the UK Drone Show - this is for both public safety and radio-interference reasons. However you are welcome to bring your own drone if you are looking for some technical advice about it, or help with repairs, a build, etc. Many of our exhibitors will be glad to share their drone expertise to try and help you.

The NEC provides a comprehensive range of facilities, you can see full details at
Inside the UK Drone Show main hall there will be a range of eating options available, from quick bites to sit-down meals. You can also leave the main hall at any time to visit any of the concessions outside the Hall as we operate a hand-stamping system which allows you return to the main show hall.
